Dear Charles:
Your request for an Amended Plat, as identified on the enclosed public notice form, has
been scheduled for a public meeting before the Garfield County Board of Commissioners
at their September 10, 2001 session. The meeting will be conducted at 1:15 p.m., in the
Commissioners Meeting Room, Suite 301, Garfield County Courthouse, 109 8th Street,
Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. It is suggested that you be present at the time of the
meeting.
A copy of the enclosed public notice and a copy of the legal description must be mailed,
by certified return -receipt, to all adjacent property owners within 200 feet of the entire
property involved in this application, at least 15 and not more than 30 days prior to the
meeting. It is also necessary to send the same notice to mineral owners and lessees of
mineral owners of record, by return -receipt mail. The site must be posted with the
enclosed notice in a location that is clearly and conspicuously visible from a public right-
of-way, at least 15 days and not more than 30 days in advance of the meeting. The
applicant or their representative at, or prior to, the public hearing must submit the proof
of mailing and return receipts from the mailings. Please verify the accuracy of all
enclosures and if you discover any errors, contact this office immediately.

PUBLIC NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE that Charles Moore has applied to the Garfield County Board of County
Commissioners, Garfield County, State of Colorado, for the approval of an amendment to
the Cooperton Recorded Plat, in connection with the following described property
situated in the County of Garfield, State of Colorado; to -wit:
Legal Description: Section 28, Township 7S, Range 88W
Practical Description: Lots 1,2,3,4,5, & B, Block 12 Cooperton Townsite (Sopris Avenue
& Cedar Street)( I — /5 Zitrica0
Said amended plat is to allow the petitioner to make boundary line adjustments to lot
numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & B of Block 12. These are all individual lots that the owner wants
to combine for one lot total.
All persons affected by the proposed amended plat are invited to appear and state their
views, endorsements or objections. If you can not appear personally at such meeting,
then you are urged to state your views by letter, as the Board of County Commissioners
will give consideration to the comments of surrounding property owners and others
affected in deciding whether to grant or deny the request for the amended plat. This
amended plat application may be reviewed at the office of the Planning Department
located at 109 8 Street, Suite 303, Garfield County Courthouse, Glenwood Springs,
Colorado between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
That a scheduled public meeting on the application for the above amended plat request
has been set for the 10`h day of September, 2001, at the hour of 1:15 p.m., in the Garfield
County Commissioners Chambers, Garfield County Courthouse, Suite 301, 109 8th
Street, Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
