RE: Cancellation BLCO-6-14-3276 Equipment shelter @ 105% E. Alkalai Creek Rd, New Castle.
On May 11, 2015, a permit expiration letter was sent to the above address, requesting a response. On
May 20, 2015, a phone message was left for Justin Hadley. As of August 13, 2015, a response has not
been received, deeming this permit expired/abandoned.

In review of our building permit application files, we found your application which was filed at
least 180 days ago. As per the 2009 International Building Code, Section RI05.3.2: An
application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned 180
days after the date of filing unless such application has been pursued in good faith or a permit
has been issued....
Your building permit application has been approved for issuance on July 9, 2014. Please be
advised, building permits are deemed active for 180 days from date of issuance, and will remain
active for 180 days from the date of an inspection. If no activity occurs within the 180 days, the
permit will be deemed expired. As per the 2009 International Building Code, Section R105.5, the
building official may grant one or more extensions of time, for no more than 180 days each. The
extension shall be requested in writing and justifiable cause demonstrated.
In hopes of issuing your permit, please contact us within ten (10) business days of the date of this
letter regarding your application. If we do not hear from you, we will deem your application
abandoned and dispose of your file and plans.
