As of August 13, 2015, a response has not been received, deeming this permit expired/abandoned. Rifle, CO 81650 May 11, 2015 Re: PERMIT # BLRE-10-14-3424 Dear Mr. Molina, In review of our building permit application files, we found your application which was filed at least 180 days ago. As per the 2009 International Residential Code, Section R105.3.2: An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned 180 days after the date of filing unless such application has been pursued in good faith or a permit has been issued.... You were contacted on October 24, 2014, and met on October 27, 2014 to discuss the required engineering and encroachment outside the building envelope. Please be advised, building permits are deemed active for 180 days from date of issuance, and will remain active for 180 days from the date of an inspection. If no activity occurs within the 180 days, the permit will be deemed expired. As per the 2009 International Residential Code, Section R105.5, the building official may grant one or more extensions of time, for no more than 180 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing and justifiable cause demonstrated. In hopes of issuing your permit, please contact us within ten (10) business days of the date of this letter regarding your application. Thank you for your timely response in this matter.
