Crawford Design Build installed the system. The installation included a new 1250 -gallon, two-compartment Roth® septic tank with an Orenco® Biotube Pump Vault in the second compartment. A PF3005 pump was installed with floats set to dose 70 gallons each pump cycle. Pump start up was conducted by Valley Precast personnel. A 1.5 -inch pump line was installed from the septic tank to a 1.5 -inch level manifold. The soil treatment area (STA) consists of a 15.5' x 29' sand filter bed with 3 -feet of ASTM C33 sand filter material. Three rows of seven Eljen® modules were placed on top of the sand filter material. There were 2 -feet between the module and the side edges of the bed, and 2.75 -feet of separation between the module rows. Effluent is pressurized through 1.25 -inch laterals, with 1/8 -inch orifice holes facing UP (12 -o'clock) with the first and last holes facing DOWN (6 -o'clock) for drainage, 3 -feet on center. Each lateral ends with a sweeping ell facing up with a ball valve for flushing. These were cut to grade and covered with a valve box for access. Inspection ports were be placed in the sand filter material at the corners of each bed and were also cut to grade and covered with a valve box for access. The eastern and southern portion of the sand filter was mounded and a liner was placed along these sides of the filter where a 3:1 slope could not be obtained. While we did not observe the installation of this liner, installation was verified by the system installer. A landscaping pond, not currently in use, is located within 50 -feet of the STA. If water will be run through this feature, it must be lined within 50 -feet of the STA. The OWTS was generally installed according to specifications. This observation is not a guarantee of workmanship and/or parts and materials. ALL SERVICE septic, LLC should be notified if changes are made to the OWTS in the future. Any additional OWTS construction must be according to the county regulations. LIMITS: Observations are limited to components that are visible at the time of the inspection. The installer must have documented and demonstrated knowledge of the requirements and regulations of the county in which they are working. The quality of the installation is dependent of the expertise of the installer, soil type, and weather conditions. Please call with questions.
