Bpcomm 08/02 7 Laundry Building - southwest side of Building "D" Willow Park Apartments, Battlement Mesa, Colorado The Laundry Building was constructed as part of the overall apartment project in about 1981 (probably under the jurisdiction of the 1976 Uniform Building Code). The existing building is 517 square feet. The building was originally used as a laundry facility for the apartment tenants, but is now used only by the Housekeeping staff to do the laundry generated by the part-time tenants in Building "A" - our Guest Suite units. (This building is presently used on a very limited basis.) The Scope of Work for this project includes the renovation of the exterior only and is limited to reroofing the building and replacing the existing siding with new vinyl siding. The reroofing portion of the project will include the complete removal of the existing asphalt composition shingles (and roofing paper), inspecting the existing roof decking, replacing all damaged decking, if any, and installing new 30 -year Architectural asphalt composition shingles over new 30# roofing paper. The siding portion of the project will include the complete removal of the existing wood siding and trim down to the existing wall sheathing, repairing all damaged area, if any, and installing new vinyl siding over a new air infiltration barrier (Tyvek). The Scope of Work for this project does not include any work to the existing mechanical system or electrical system or any work on the interior of the building.
