We were able to draft without difficulty. This Hydrant pulls suction very easily and we did not have problems maintaining draft/suction, or water supply during pumping operations. The connection is close to the ground and does not allow for much pressure to be placed on the PVC pipe. Therefore, I do not see the need for a hard suction support or brace. We did not have difficulty connecting to the pipe either. I believe this will accommodate our needs and is very accessible. Contact me if you have any questions.
