STRUCTURAL CONSULTANTS Phone (970) 945 6305 Fax (970) 945 1093 MEMORANDUM L LEDGER DETAIL: For the main floor framing it was decided to use an alternate ledger support detail above the crawl space, The ICF ledger sysiem manufactured by Simpson Strong Tie, Co, was used to support the ledger. Note this system is designed specifically for the foam form concrete walls. I understand that the ICF hangers were installed at each ledger at 2'*0" on center, and installed with only five `D3' screws rather than six screws as recommended by Simpson Strong Tie. After review of the floor loads, it is my professional opinion that the ledger support system as installed is safe and structurally adequate. 2. FOOTING STEPS: Because of a slight slope of the exterior grade, it was determined in the field that a 2'-0" vertical step in the footings was required on each side of the addition. The footing step as shown below is structurally acceptable. I advised you to not splice the horizontal wall reinforcement in the vicinity of the footing steps. 2.° Maid a T6-7 ZLZ9-9176 a10141 ZIZ8-Stb6 auoyd 0 m When correction(s) have been made, call for inspection, 3 — ,' . co so 03 et O.• '' O N C Q.• CD 0 O e O mfD t ? 8N -mss OF C N fD Q as .. 0 3. - ID W e O O a. 3 .d N 0. 5 5. 0 ana O 0i • N O • C • m CD . 0.
