HomeMy WebLinkAbout3.0 Memo to BOCCGARFIELD COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLORADO 81601 2014 BLAKE AVENUE PHONE 945-8212 October 12, 1977 MEMO TO: Board of County Commissioners FROM: Planning Department SUBJECT: Certification of Planning Commission Action on Cattle Creek PUD Request On Monday, October 10th, the Garfield County Planning Commission held their regularly scheduled monthly meeting and discussed the request for PUD zoning made by Mr. Frank Lerner and Mr. Sturgis, known as the Cattle Creek PUD. After considerable discussion, Dale Albertson moved to recommend approval of the request for PUD zoning to the Board of County Commissioners subject to the following conditions: 1. Language be added to the restrictive covenants which prohibits resubdivision of the lots as shown on the PUD plan once they are subdivided; 2. Add a potential school site designation to the north- west portion of the PUD plan; 3. The existing ranch road from the main buildings to the top of the hill be shown on the PUD plan as a pedestrian/equestrian/emergency vehicle access; 4. Approval of the proposed water augmentation plan by the District Water Court; and 5. Improvements for the fire protection system include a pressure reducing station developed with a minimum of 8,000 gallons water storage for fire protection to be provided in Phase I. Dick Martin seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously with Chairman Jackson, Dale Albertson, Arnold Mackley, Dick Martin, and John Tripp all voting aye. RAW/kay
