HomeMy WebLinkAbout1.0 Application• • TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO PETITION FOR SKETCH PLAN REVIEW Your Petitioners, LARRY E. LOESCH and JACQUELINE L. LOESCH, and TERRY BROUGHTON are the owners of approximately 40 acres of land situated in Township 6 S., R. 93 W., of the 6th P.M., Garfield County, Colorado, described as follows: The SE4SW4 of Section 19, Tp. 6 S., R. 93 W., 6th P.M., together with an undivided 1/20 interest in the Taughenbaugh Ditch and the enlargements thereof and an undivided 1/20 interest in the water allowed to flow therein under Priorities Nos. 34, 66, 123, and 124. This property is now being served through an agreement with water from the City of Rifle, and a house is now locates on the property. The Petitioners desire to sell approximately ten acres of this land, including the house, to Terry Broughton. A sketch plan is attached hereto showing the location of the house, barn and sheds as it relates to the entire 40 acres. The house is now occupied. The parties agree that they will transfer some irrigation water to be used in the event that Terry Broughton desires to irrigate any or all of this ten acres. The remainder of the property has direct access to a County Road, as the same is constructed and in place, and the parties plan no further division of :his real property at this time. Loesch submitted a petition for exemption from subdivision regulations to sell ten acres of land. Lynn Hill made a motion the petition be granted and a resolution. accepted. E. L. Busby seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Bill Moulton, John and Joan Savage submitted a sketch plan of Buffalo Basin Development. Lynn Hill made a motion the sketch plans be approved and the developer to proceed with preliminary plans. E. L. Busby seconded the motion.. Motion passed unanimously. Robert Dorssey.represented by John Kemp submitted a petition for exemption from subdivision regulations to sell/a parcel of land containing .25 acre, more or less. E. L. Busby made a motion the exemption be granted subject to the petitioner obtaining a variance from the Board of adjust- ment from any violation of the zoning ordinance and the resolution be accepted. The Board of County Commissioners has determined these can be sold and the following resolution was adopted. R ESOLUTION WHEREAS, written application has been made to the Board of County Commissioners requesting that said Board offer for sale the following described property, situated in Garfield County, Colorado, to -wit: Parcel 1: Lots 18 through 25, both inclusive, in the Town of New Castle. Block G. Parcel 2: Lot 17 in Block 32 in the City of Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado. ANP WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners acquired title'to the above described real property such sale can be made pursuant to the provisions of is advised and has determined that the County by Treasurer's Deed, and by reason thereof Chapter 137-9-43, C.R.S. 1963, as amended. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that the real property hereinabove described shall be offered for sale at the South front door of f, the Garfield County Courthouse on April 29th, 1974 at the hour of 1:30 C'Clock P.M. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said notice shall reserve the right, on the part of the Board of County Commissioners, to reject any and all bids which are less than the appraised value fixed by the Garfield ''ounty Assessor for the year 1974. On the motion of Commissioner E. L. Busby and seconded by Commissioner Lynn Hill, the above and foregoing Resolution was unanimously passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said Board held on March 18, 1974.
