The proposed piering plan is attached. Six (6) push piers are proposed around the SW corner of the house
as shown on the attached drawing.
A laser -level elevation survey was done by Founrdation Repair of Western Colorado (FRWC) on
September 15, 2015. These initial elevations are shown on the attached drawing for this area of the house.
The greatest amount of settlement has occurred at the SW corner, most likely due to water intrusion under
the footings. The settling here is roughly 1-3/8".
Most likely lifting of the foundation walls and floor structure may require an adjustment to be made at the
posts under the girder beam in the crawl space. Shims may need to be added at the posts or the posts may
need to be replaced. If replaced, it is recommended that smart jacks or adjustable steel jacks be used.
Keep in mind that with underpinning projects such as this, the field conditions encountered during this
piering project may dictate a change in the number of piers and in pier spacing. Unknown subsurface
features and conditions can influence a change of plan. Also, the location of piping and electrical cables
can change actual pier location. Please note the location of the water line in the crawl spaced at the SW
corner. Also, the location of gas line and meter is noted on the attached drawings. Locations of these
components are taken into consideration in the proposed piering plan.

I will be available for consultation during the progress of this project. 1 will be present on-site during the
lifting process and helping with the final elevation survey. When the project is successfully completed
and finalized, 1 will certify the project as such by letter and/or e-mail.
