GENERAL PROVISIONS
FIRST: The Applicant represents a1l parties in interest, and affirms that the driveway approach(es) is
to be constructed by him for the bona fide purpose of securing access to his property and not for thepurpose of doing business or servicing vehicles on the road right-of-way.
SECOND: The Applicant shal l furnjsh all labor and materials, perform all work, and pay all costs in
connection with the construction of the driveway(s) and its appurtenances on the right-of-way. All
work shall be completed within 30 days of the Permit date.
THIRD: The type of construction shall be as designated and/or approved by the Board of County Commis-sioners or their representative, and all materials used shall be of satisfactory quality and subject toinspection and approval of the Eoard of County Commissioners or their representative.
F0URTH: The traveling public shall be protected during the installation with proper warnlng
signals and the Board of County Commiss'ioners and their duly appointed agents and employees
held harmless against any action for personal injury or property damage sustained by reasonercise of the Permit.
FIFTH: The Applicant shall assume responsibility for the

SIXTH: In the event it becomes necessary to remove any right-of-way fence, the posts on either side of

SEVENTH: No revisions or additions shall be made to the driveway(s) or its appurtenances on the right-

SPECIFICATIONS
I. A drlveway approach is understood to be that portion of the hiqhway right-of-way between the pave-
ment edge and the property line which is designed and used for the interchanEe of traffic between the
roadway pavement and the abutti ng property.
2. At any intersection, a driveway shall be restricted for a sufficient djstance from the in!sp5g6-
tion to preserve the normal and safe movement of traffic. ( lt is recommended for rural residence en-
trances that a minimum intersection clearance of 50 feet be provided and for rura'l commercial entrances
a minimum of 100 be provided.
3, All entrances and exits shall be so located and constructed that vehjcles approaching or using
them will be able to obtain adequate sight distance in both directions alonq the highway in order to
maneuver safely and without interferinq with hiqhway traffic.
4. The Applicant shall not be pernritted to erect any sign or dlsplay material
