Mr. Mayo was referred to Mark Bean of Planning and Zon'i ng for- further advi sement concerni ng the property. 2. I beljeve that Mr. Mayo tried to trade the parcel to the Board of County CommissionLrs for some typq of division of other properti es, but thi s was not accompl i shed ' 3. He was advised that he would have to obtain a permit from the County Road Department to cross the road, etc. C. Mr. Normandin was advised of al I set back requirements as per paragraphs 1, 1A, etc. D. Mr. Paul Lindstrom stopped by the Bui'lding 0ffice one or two more times during the summer protesting the possible use of this parcel for building purposes. He was advised that, if all requirements of Building, Sanitation and Pl anni ng and Zoni ng were met, that we coul d not 1 egal 1y refuse to grant permits. 6. During mid-May Mark Bean forwarded to me a copy of a letter from Mr.Li.ndstrom's attorney requesting advisement if a bui'lding permi t was requested by Mr. Normandi n. 7. I was advised by telecommunication that Mr. Normandin had made a road cut of County Road 245 without a permit from the County Road Department. 8. Mr. Normandin came by our office to find our where to go regarding taking corrective action about his illegal road cut. He was advi sed to contact Leonard Bowl by, County Road Supervi sor, and/or Earl Rhodes, Garnfield County Attorney. I advised Mr. Normandin to remove his R.V. to avoid potential problems. 9. Mr. Normandin filed a complaint that the Spruce Tree Cabins had an R.V. 5th wheel trailer on site, which was hooked up and bei ng occupied. 10. 0n June 4th Jim McMurrey, Building Inspector, and I drove by Mr. Normandin's property and observed a pickup with a camper on the bed parked on site. We took photos. There did not appear to be anyone present. 11. We also took a photoof the 5th wheel trailer parked at the Spruce Tree Cabi ns . A revi ew of Condi ti onal and Speci a1 Use Permits does not reveal one in the name of Paul Lindstrom or The Spruce Tree Cabins. June 5, 1984 Normandi n Memo Page 3 12. About 2:30 P.M. on June4 , I received an anonymous phone ca'l I from a woman who declined to reveal her identity, she wanted to know what we were going to do about Mr. Normandin's a'l leged camping on the property. She stated that al I the neighbors were in fear of their I ives since Mr. Normandin shot a neighobor's dog on his property during the weekend.
