Dear Commissioners:
The Meltons are retiring fron their ranch and are presently in the process of
selling it, with exception to a 5.00 acre parcel around their home and out-
buildings. Theyhave owned this land since July 1963 and November L964.
The total property consists of approximately 48 acres and is agricultural.
They are requesting an Exemption on the 5.00 acre parcel out of the total pro-
perty, leaving approximately 43 acres of agricultural land.

1. legal description of the 5.00 acre parcel
2. map of the 5.00 acre parcel
3. vicinity map
4. copy of deeds on total property
5. soils map
6, a check in the amount of $55.00

EXEMPTION DESCRIPTION :
A parcel of land situated in the Sntnnt of Section 5, Township 6 South, Range
91 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Garfield County, Colorado, lying
Westerly of the I'lesterly right-of-way fence Line of County Road No, 263, and
Northerly of the Centerline of the Ware and Hinds Ditch, both as nord constructed
and in place, said parcel of Land is more fully described as folLows:
Beginning at a point on said right-of-way line; whence the East Quarter Corner
of said iection 5 bears: S.02'55t13"E. 855.18 feet; thence S.00'33122"8.
along said right-of-way 1ine, 42O.62 feet to a point in said ditch; thence
s.80;10'56"w. 146.09 feet along said centerline ditch; Ehence N.77'48r05"w.
273.05 feet along said centerline ditch; thence N.78'31r16"W. L27.52 f.eet
along centerline ditch; thence N.01'24t41'tE, 362.55 feet; thence East
