RESOLUTION #82 -
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE FINAL PLAT FOR THE MAW CREEK
INDUSTRIAL PARK.
WHEREAS, Garfield County is a legal and political subdivision of the
State of Colorado and is authorized to act pursuant to the constitution and
laws of the State of Colorado;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30-28-101, et seq., C.R.S. '73, as
amended, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County is empowered to
approve certain types of development;
WHEREAS, previously, on June 15, 1981, this Board, by Resolution
#81-186, granted preliminary plat approval for the Marnm Creek Industrial Park
with certain conditions;
WHEREAS, one of those conditions was to provide adequate access to
the development by improvements to the county road or the construction of an
interchange on Interstate 70;
WHEREAS, Rifle Land Associates, Ltd., and Mr. Robert Chancellor have
participated in good faith in a funding agreement with Garfield County for the
construction of an interchange on Interstate 70 at Mamm Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Garfield County that Rifle Land Associates Ltd. and Mr. Robert Chancellor,
its general partner, is hereby granted an extension of six months from the date
of June 15, 1982 in which to submit to the Garfield County Planning Department
a complete final plat and supporting documents in such form as can be acted
upon by the Board of County Commissioners.
