Brown, Director Colorado Rocky Mountain School 1493 106 Road Carbondale, Colorado 81623 Re: Relocation of County Road 106 Dear Mr. Brown: This letter will confirm that the Board of County Commis- sioners of Garfield County has reviewed your survey of the proposed relocation of Garfield County Road 106, north of the Colorado Rocky Mountain School, and consider the proposed relocation acceptable. In accordance with the actions of this Board taken on the 3rd of December, 1979, Garfield County will assist in the relocation of the road in the following manner: (1) applying a chip -and -seal surface to the County portion of the roadway after construction to county specifications; (2) removal of the existing road between the entrance to CRMS and the new construction from the county primary system, and classifying the same as county secondary road restricted to non -motorized traffic; (3) removal of the present hard -surfaced roadway from the non -motorized secondary road; and (4) fencing mat- erials to prevent use of the non -motorized secondary road by motorized traffic and to fence the new roadway which fencing will be installed by CRMS if requested by the County. The reclassifications of the affected portion of existing County Road 106 will be accomplished upon completion of the new roadway between State Highway 133 and the existing County Road. Should your understanding of the agreeement between CRMS and Garfield County be any different than that outlined above, please contact the County Attorney at the above telephone number.
