Chad,
In response to your letter request sent to Ron Zatarain, SourceGas Distribution LLC in our Glenwood Springs Office on
November 8, 2013. SourceGas finds no problem with your request in vacating a portion of CR 106. The natural gas
pipeline running through this area as shown on your plat, currently serves the CRMS campus. If upon vacation ofthis
portion of CR 106, SourceGas is granted a non-exclusive easement of at least 20 feet in width, that would be great. If
you have any questions please contact me in Golden at 303-243-3578.
Thanks

Hi Britt:
Thank you and Mr. Lee for giving us a chance to comment on this vacation. If Garfield County reserves a utility easement
on the vacated portion of the road, Public Service Company of Colorado has no objection vacating this portion of the road.
However, I'm not sure what future development plans CRMS has. As you may know, no buildings, structures, mobile
homes or trailer units are allowed on the easement. If you should have any questions about this matter, please don't
hesitate to call me.
Thank you,
Dennis Hansen

Hi Jason. Thanks speaking with me this morning. We understand that CenturyLink may have additional facilities within
the CR 106 right of way through the CRMS campus. We are working with SGM to have those additional facilities
located to the extent they are located within the CR 106 right of way. SGM will be contacting you to discuss the matter
further. Given the holiday schedule, we expect a revised utility drawing in the next 3-4 weeks.
Happy Holidays,
Chad J. Lee

Britt,

I left a voice message for Chad a few weeks ago to discuss this matter further, but never received a call back. We have
several aerial and buried copper cables in this area, but the only facility specified in the letter was our fiber optic line.
CenturyLink would like to see all of our existing facilities (copper & fiber) identified on the exhibit before this portion of
County Rd 106 is vacated. Please let me know if this response will be adequate for your supplemental package to
Garfield County.

Mr. Sharpe: I am sending you this e-mail to follow-up on the above -referenced matter. I know you spoke with Chad Lee
several weeks ago and he indicated that you would send us a letter stating your position on this matter. To date, we
have not received a letter. We are going to be submitting a supplemental package to Garfield County tomorrow and
would like to have a response from CenturyTel. Would.you let me know if a response from you would be possible by
tomorrow afternoon? Thank you and Happy Holidays.

CRMS Pending Petition to Garco to Vacate CR 106

Subject: CRMS Pending Petition to Garco to Vacate CR 106
Hi Larry:
The Town of Carbondale is in receipt of your letter dated November 12, 2013 letting us know about the plans for CRMS
to petition the Garfield Board of County Commissioners to vacate a portion of the CR 106 ROW through their campus.
As you noted, the Town does maintain existing sewer and water lines in the current ROW and would need to insure
appropriate easements are granted to the Town to maintain these lines. In addition, it is our understanding that
Garfield County would refer the vacation proposal to the Town for comments. At that time, I am confident that the
Town Board and our various advisory boards would be reviewing the application for potential impacts to the community
as a result of the vacation process. Thank you letting us know about the pending vacation application.
Sincerely,
Jay Harrington
