Sample(s) Obtained:
Verbal
Communication:
Building area had been excavated about 1 to 3 feet to design slab subgrade and
underground water and sewer lines had been installed and backfilled. Grade beam trench
excavation was In progress at the time of our site visit. We performed four nuclear gauge
moisture -density tests at slab subgrade within the building area. Test results were judged
to Indicate acceptable compaction at moisture contents well below optimum on
previously placed till.
One bulk composite sample was obtained from test locations and submitted to our lab for
standard Proctor and classification testing. Lab testing results are attached.
Logan crew was informed that we judged the test results to indicate acceptable
compaction.
