Reference: Post Tensioning Field Report by HP Geotech, Job No. 115 066,F, September 17, 2015
Dear Eric,
As requested, we have reviewed portions of the referenced report by HP Gcotech.
Based on our review, the tensioning elongations of the post -tensioning cables were reported to be
measured within the variances noted on the plans for each cable, or as calculated by HP Geotech to
accommodate field variations, with the exception of cable A (- 1/8 inch). After correspondence with
Thomas Westhoff of HP Geotech, it is our understanding that the tension applied to this cable, and the
field modified length cables, is consistent with the remainder of the cables on this project. It is our
opinion that the elongation discrepancy is likely due to field measurement tolerances. The comparison
for the elongations for these cables appear to have been based on the foundation plans, dated July 1, 2015.
It is our opinion that the reported cable lengths are in general conformance with the elongations required
in the noted plans.
The scope of our review is limited to the items listed above.
