Correction #1, Comment: The Office/control building and the Shop/warehouse building may be built as one building with an appropriate connection connecting them. See the Plan Analysis that accompanies this report. However, on the Plot Plan the Shop/warehouse portion of the building is currently located within about 36 -feet of the proposed Generator building. This would require that both buildings, shop/warehouse and generator buildings have one-hour fire -resistive wall along their common sides. In order to construct the office/control/ shop/warehouse as a single Type V Non -fire -rated building one of the following correction options is required in order to comply with Sec. 503: 1. Relocate the proposed Shop/Warehouse portion toward the Office/Control portion in order to provide 40 - feet between the Shop/Warehouse and the Generator building. 2. Relocate the proposed Generator building away from the Shop/Warehouse in order to provide 40 -feet between the Shop/Warehouse and the Generator building. Correction *2: All insulation materials including facings are required to have a flame -spread rating of 25 or less and a maximum smoke density of 450 unless installed in a concealed space and the facing is in contact with a wall or ceiling surface.
