BUILDING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT, GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO .. ·~ EXHIBIT A FLOODPLAIN PERMIT -Parcel #2179-101-00-018, Silt, Colorado, owned by Western Mini Storage, LLC 1. All representations made in the application shall be considered conditions· of approval, unless modified by this Exhibit A. 2. No alterations of the floodplain may be made other than the specific improvements noted in the application and shown on drawings by Yancy Nichol, P .E., as labeled "Site Plan, Grading & Drainage Plan" signed and stamped May 14th, 2008, submitted with FIRM Panel! 092 of 1125 . 3. All new construction or substantial improvements shall be designed (or modified) and adequately anchored to prevent flotation, collapse or lateral movement of the structure resulting from hydrodynamic and hydrostatic loads, including the effects of buoyancy. 4. All new construction or substantial improvements shall be constructed with materials resistant to flood damage. 5. All new construction or substantial improvements shall be constructed by methods and practices that minimize flood damage. 6. All new construction or substantial improvements shall be constructed with electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and air conditioning equipment and other service facilities that are designed and/or located so as to prevent water from entering or accumulating within the components during conditions of flooding. 7. The site plan does not call for any of the following to be placed on the site: sanitary sewer systems, water system, on-site waste disposal systems, so none are to be allowed. 8. All recreational vehicles (RVs) to be placed on sites must conform to the following: (a) may not be occupied as a dwelling unit on this site at any time. (b) be fully licensed and ready for highway use, as defined in 6.09.02.5 (c) of the Garfield Countv Zoning and Subdivision Regulations of 1978, as amended, or be elevated so that the lowest floor is at or above the base flood elevation, and anchored as defined in 6.09.02.02.4(c)2 Garfield County Zoning and Subdivision Regulations of 1978, as amended, or be parked on site for fewer than 180 consecutive days. 9. No disturbance of a regulated wetland will be allowed in this or future site plans. 10. The boundaries of the 1 00-year floodway shall be staked and fenced prior to site disturbance. 11. A copy of this Exhibit A shall be included as an attachment to all storage contracts with individuals to serve as a disclosure statement for the flood fringe concern and RV storage requirements on this site.
