RELATIONSHIP Subdivis ions,/Rural-/Servi ceable Areas . the original Garfield County Airport II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSAL This designation P. U. D. approval . It is proposed to modify the existing Garfield County Airport Industrial Park P.U.D. Zone District Text included in Resolution No. 85-103. The basic proposal is as follows: A. Modify Section 6. for Resolution No. 85-103 to state the following: Section 6: Ix-A. Agricultural,/Industrial,/Open Space District, A/r/OS. Uses by right: agricultural, including farm, garden, greenhouse, nursery, orchard, ranch, kennel, guiding and outfitting, riding stable, park, greenbelt, veterinary clinic, and customary accessory uses including building for shelter and enclosures of persons, animals, and/or property employed in any of the above uses, including power co-generation facilities. designed for heating greenhouses and for electric power production. The reason for the proposed modification is the concern by 1ega1 counsel for CTDC that the previously approved language may al1ow someone to challenge and overturn the previously approved text amendment. This modification is to add language clarifying the intent by CTDC to utilize an electrical povrer generating plant to heat the greenhouses and produce electrical power. - t- III.STAFF COMMENTS The proposed modification of consistent with the intent ofDistrict Amendment. the PUD-Zone District Text isthe previously approved PUD Zone 1. IV. SUGGESTED FINDINGS That proper publication and public notice was provided asrequired by law for the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners.
