A final Electrical Inspection from the Colorado State Electrical Inspector; 2. Permanent address assigned by Garfield County Building Department posted where readily visible from access road; 3. A finished roof, a lockable house, complete exterior siding, exterior doors and windows installed, a complete kitchen with cabinets, a sink with hot & cold running water, non-absorbent kitchen floor coverings, counter tops and finished walls, ready for stove and refrigerator, all necessary plumbing; 4. Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Subject: Proposed House, Lot 49, Westbank Mesa, Garfield Co., Colorado. I have reviewed the roof framing for the subject house as designed and detailed by Boise Cascade. The design loading used is 40 PSF live load plus 15 PSF dead load. My design check of the rafters, ridge beams, and valley rafters reveals these components to be more than adequate. The proposed house structure was reviewed for the effects of an 80 mph wind. The use of one-half inch OSB or plywood sheathing on six inch studs will give a shear resistance exceeding the applied wind shear. Respectfully George B. I have noted the footings dimensions and reinforcement details on the attached drawings 5 of 12 and 6 of 12. The footings designed for the support columns will need to be checked prior to construction once the framing design is completed and the reactions are verified by the framing designer. You will need to include the attached reinforced concrete notes with the drawings. Design loads include 40 psf snow load and 80 mph exposure C wind per U.B.C. 1997. The footings have been designed based on the drawings and data provided to Westar, Inc. by Mike Patch, and the subsoil study and foundation recommendations provided by HP Geotech, Inc. dated 6 September 2000. Any changes made to the structure may affect the foundation design. Westar, Inc. shall be promptly notified of any such changes.
