RE: Stark Residence
To whom it may concern
Theodore 1< Guy Associates PC is the engineer of record for the above stated project & understands
the building department has requested we comment on the foundation inspection by Matt Provant
dated 10-11-13
After reviewing the comments from the County of Garfield Building Correction Notice &
coordinating with the contractor Theodore 1< Guy Associates PC is allowing the following conditions
for this conventionally framed residential structures:
. "Wet Set" Concrete footing dowels
• 2x10 concrete footing forms with the 1o" min depth to still apply
. Concrete footing forms to be placed around large boulders that do not disrupt the continuous
steel reinforcement
Theodore 1< Guy Associates PC has also modified our retaining wall detail to require a horizontal
finished grade for the first six feet beyond the foundation wall, see attached clarification C1.o.
