The reports of the services requested and performed for the project arc attached. We previously conducted a subsoil study for design of foundations at the site and presented our findings in a report dated September 16 1 2015, Job No. l 13 471Q. The foundation bearing soils within the building excavation were observed nnd tested for compaction on December 21, 2015, January 6, 13, 19 and 21, 2016 and are suitable for the recommended bearing pressure of I ,000 psf. Grade beam reinforcement steel was observed on February 9, the post-tensioned slab tendons were observed on February IO and the fresh concrete for the foundation was sampled on February 12, 2016. Tensioning of the tendons was observed on February IS, 2016 according to the project specifications. The results of the tendon tensioning were submitted to Fuhrmann & Graf for their approval. We did not observe placement of the rigid foam insulation along the building perimeter, but since the perimeter grade beam has n minimum depth of 36 inches, it provides adequate frost protection rather than by insulation. Based upon inferences drawn from our observation and testing, as documented by the attached daily field nnd laboratory reports, it is our professional opinion that the referenced construction has achieved the specified conditions. Please recognize that construction observation and testing are sampling functions that involve direct Parker 303-841-7119 • Color;:ido Springs 719-633-5562 • Sih·erthomc 970-468-1989 Silich Construction Inc.
