Box 1758 365 West 50 North, Suite W-1 Vernal, Utah 84078 Grand Junction, CO 81505 Dear Richard, Subject: Juhl Foundation -1761 CR 117, Glenwood Springs, CO I am writing in regards to the foundation of the Juhl residence at 1761 County Road, 117 near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. In our telephone conversation earlier today, you stated a desire to modify the foundation as detailed in the construction drawings that I prepared (Dated November 11, 2015) by adding a reinforced concrete retaining wall that would tie into the home foundation . I find this idea to be acceptable and consistent with my original design. As I stated over the telephone, I will be out of town for training until Thursday of this week. Upon returning, I will prepare and send you a detail for the retaining wall's proportioning and reinforcing . Sincerely, Vance V. King, PE Engineer CIVCO Engineering, Inc.
