Construct welcome / directory fabricated aluminum cabinet sign as indicated in HA -3 to connect to stone sign base. Overall dimensions of stone sign base l _ approximately 18' wide x to be determined (TBD) tall as shown. Direct �/ Z -T fabricated aluminum cabinet sign shall be a minimum of 14' wide x-8' tall. 2. Directory portion of the sign shall be back lit with commercial grade outdoor / photo -cell for night operations. 3. Stone base shall be the same stone type and color used in the FBO facility and approved by the Airport Director and constructed by Tec Tonics. Sign contractor shall attach the fabricated aluminum cabinet to the stone base. 4. Top welcome sign shall be same length as the stone base and scaled to fit the overall sign. "Welcome" and the "airport logo" shall be permanently engraved or attached to the surface. Top section shall be made of outdoor decorative wood or similar that compliments the new FBO facility. Provide the Airport Director with options and your recommendations for this area along with price break out for each option. 5. Support columns from the top of the rock base shall be decorative metal or wood as determined by Tec Tonics. Support pillars and or caissons shall be sufficient to secure the fabricated aluminum cabinet sign in high winds. 6. Sign shall be positioned at a 45° angle to Runway Road at a location selected on the slope by the contractor and approved by the Airport Director. 7. Directory portion shall be back lit. Letter sized shall be min 6" high capitals shown in HA -3. Sign shall be clearly readable day or night from 100' to 110' away. Lettering placed too close to each other will blur the image and is unacceptable. If dimensions need to be adjusted, make the recommendations to Tec Tonics and the Airport Director 8. Construct the acrylic face of the directory sign so as to be easily replace as needed. This sign is south facing and shall be made with the best fade resistant materials expected to last ten years before needing replacement. Changes in tenants may also require updating the sign.
