OWfS Construction Approval Letter.
LAND SURVEYING
The proposed OWTS field design at 3923 CR 154 outside of Glenwood Springs, Colorado has been
installed per the approved plans.
l11e systcm was constructed per plan including a 1500 gallon tank, dosing pump and floats and dosing
beds. The beds were excavated to the design elevations and dctcnnined to be in expcclcd soil type. Sand
was then placed on the excavation, then the rock and dosing pipes. The area was then backfilled.
The system was teslcd on 6-27-2016 for function and pumped to the field and the effiuent alternating
valve functioned properly . The floats were tested for pump on, pump off and alarm . The nJorm
functioned with visual and audible detection. Inspection ports were installed on both ends of the tie Id
and clcanouts were also installed on the ends of the dosing line per details.
The new concrete septic tank meets sizing requirements per design nnd has an inlet drop and outlet bio-
filter installed per design. TI1e tank lids have been raised to the proper elevation above grade.
