We can just close it out with this email since the scope of work has changed. I believe we are about 2 weeks out for a remodel review. We would use the owner’s estimate for a remodel type of permit. I would leave out any new appliances cost. If it is just changing out the cabinets, counter tops, and appliances a permit would not be needed with a kitchen remodel. It is ending up that Lincare has decided that they don’t need the new full height wall separation; or the new sink that we previously submitted for permit/ plan check. We still want a demarcation line separating the lease space. We are thinking a 6-foot high chain link fence would separate the space; or possibility anchor their 9-foot high steel shelves on the demarcation line. Would we still need to permit this space even though no wall or sink will be installed now? Thanks, John Diemoz P.S. One more item for you. I have a friend in the county getting ready to submit for a residential entry addition/ remodel permit. How long are permits roughly taking? And looking at the GARCO building estimate worksheet, what dollar / SF should be used for remodeling of an interior finished space? Anything different for a complete kitchen remodel? Thanks.
