In our yesterday telephone discussion, I had requested that all documents with my professional stamp, currently in your
files for the above referenced project, be returned to my possession. As per industry standards, all plans, reports,
specifications, and other documents prepared by the design professional as instruments of service, remain the property
of the design professional. As the design professional, I retain all common law, statutory and other reserved rights,
including the copyright thereto.
It is my understanding by our today telephone discussion, that you have consulted County Legal in this matter, and that
you will notify me as to their recommendations to you.
By this e-mail I am notifying you and the Garfield County Building Department, that S K Peightal Engineers, Ltd is not the
Engineering Firm of Record for this project. Also, Stephen Peightal, PE is not the Engineer of Record for this project.
Please mark your files to indicate as so.
