The purpose of this letter is to address the construction of the Ancillary Onsite Wastewater Treatment
System for the Clough/Anderson Residence (garage/recreation room) located at 1919 C.R.#264 in
Garfield County, CO. (West Rifle area). Boundaries Unlimited Inc. (BUI) performed inspections of the
installed system on January 16, 2015 and January 30, 2015. The installation included a 1,000-gallon
concrete septic tank, a dosing pump system, a cleanout near the house, a 220± SF sand filter,
inspection ports, flush valves and associated piping. A short stormwater deflection berm had also been
constructed above the absorption field and the tank had not been backfilled.
The system appeared to have been installed in conformance with the intent of the design. The
contractor was directed to complete the installation by backfilling the tank with onsite select soils.
