Dear John:
On behalf of the City of Rifle, I apologize for not having sent this review to yourself prior to
the Sketch Plan review in front of Planning Commission for the Power Line Professional Park
Development.
We were in receipt of the document and thank you for having referred this project to us.
Please note that, based upon our review, to date, we note that the project is currently out of
the 201 Service Area for the City of Rifle. Accordingly, we note that the proposed method
of sewage disposal for the project is that of individual disposal systems. The source of water
for the project is to be gained by use of individual wells. The City of Rifle does not have any
water distribution facilities adjacent to this parcel. Public access to this project will be by
Highway 6 & 24. We assume that a similar referral has been sent to the Colorado Department
of Transportation for review.
The City of Rifle has no short-term desire to annex or serve this parcel.
