STOPES This map unit is on fans and mountainsideslopes. This unit is 30 percent Anvik, 30 percentSkylick and 30 percent SIigting.
The Anvik soil is deep and welL-drained. It formed inalluvium and colluvium derived from mixed parentmaterials. The surface }ayer is loam L2 inches thick.The subsurface layer is loam 6 inches thick. Thesubsoil is cobbly clay loam 24 inches thick. Theunderlying material to a depth of 60 inches is cobblyclay loam. Permeability is moderate. Available watercapacity is moderate. Effective rooting depth is 60inches or rnore. Runoff is rapid, and the hazard ofwater erosion is very high.
The Skylick soil is deep and well-drained. It formedin residuum and colluvlum derived dominantly fromsandstone.' The surface layer is loam 31 inches thick.The upper L7 inches of the subsoil is clay 1oam. Thelower part to a depth of 50 inches is qravelly sandyclay loam. Permeability is moderately slow. Availablewater capacity is high. Effective rooting depth is 60inches or more. Runoff is rapid, and the hazard ofwater erosion is very high.
The Sligting soil is deep and well-drained. It formedin residuum and colluvium derived dominantly from
sandstone and basalt. The surface layer is stony l.oam

This map unit is on mountainsides and fans. This unit
is 45 percent cochetopa loam and 35 percent Antrobus
very stony loam.
The Cochetopa soil is deep and well drained. The
surface Layer is loam about 2L inches thick. The

The Antrobus soil is deep and well-drained. It formed
in alluvium and colluvium derived dominantly from
basalt. The surface is covered with L2 to 15 percent
stones and 25 percent cobble. The surface layer is

CONDMONS OF APPHOVAL
This well shall be used in such a way as to cause no material injury to existing water rights. The lssuance of the
permlt does not assure the applicant that no injury will occur to another vested water right or preclude enother
owner of a vested water right from seeklng relief in a civil court action.
The construction of this well shall be in compliance wlth the Water Well Constructlon and Pump lnstallation Rules
2 CCR 402-2, unless approval of a variance has been granted by the State Board of Examiners of Water Well
Construction and Pump lnstallation Contractors in accordance with Rule 17.
Approved pursuant to CFS 37-92-602(3)(bXlD(A) as the only well on a tracl of land of 40 acres described as that
portion of the NE 1/4 of Sec. 15, Twp. 6 South, Rng. 88 West of the 6th P.M., Garfield County, being more
Panicularly described on the attached exhibit'A'. NOTE: Section 15 is an irregular (tall) seaion
The use of ground water from this well is limited to ordinary household purposes inside three (3) single family
dwellings, fire proteaion, the watering of poultry, domestic animals, and livestock on a firm or ranch, and the
irrigation of not over one (1) acre of home gardens and lawns.
The maximum pumping rate shall not exceed 1S GPM.
The return flow from the use of the well must be through an individual waste water dlsposal system of the
non-evaporative type where the water is returned to the same stream system in which the well is lecated.
This well shall be constructed not more than 2oO feet from the tocation specified on thiq permit.
