In response to your reguest for comments regarding the proposed Hopkins Ransh,
Ltd. Subdivision Exemption, I offer the folloring statenente for your
echeduled [ay 16, 1994 public meeting. The 40 asre tract doee not lie
adjacent to any BLll-adminigtered lands, Horever, the County and the ovner
should be arare that all rinerals are regerved to the United States.
Therefore, in the future, mining claime could be located and nineral leases or
pernits sould be iesued, AIso, use of building etone, gravel, or any other
mineral material fron the property rou.l.d reguire a perrnit fron the BLI'!.
