BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. 1973, Section 30-28-101(10) (a) -
(d) as amended, and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County,
Colorado adopted September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975,
Sections 1.02.17(d) and 3.02.01, Robert H. Ragle, and Velma E.
Ragle respectfully petition the Board of County Commissioners of
Garfield County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution a division of
the SE4 of Section 22, Township 6 South, Range 91 West, of the
6th P.M. which contains 160 acres into two parcels, one of approx-
imately 23 acres in size, being described as that part of the SE4
of said Section lying north of the county road, and the other of
approximately 137 acres in size, that part south of the county
road, from the definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivision land"
as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. 1973, Section 30-28-101
(a) - (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations, for the
reasons stated below:
1. A county road presently passes through the SE4 of said
Section 22 dividing it into the parcels described above with the
23 acre parcel being that part of the quarter section lying north
of the road.
2. The part north of the road is presently improved with
a mobile home, water well, and septic system and has been so im-
proved for more than four years preceding the date of this Pet-
ition.
3. Access to both parcels is obtainable over and across
the presently existing county road dividing the parcels as set
forth above.
