Dear Mr. Farrington, A representative of Iluddleston-Berry Engineering and resting, LLC (HBET) observed the foundation excavation and tested the soil compaction on October 10, 12, and 14, 2016. Periodic testing for the subject project is complete and any exceptions have been corrected. The open hole inspection indicated that the subsurface soil conditions on the lot are consistent with the referenced report. Therefore, based upon the recommendations in the referenced report, results of the open hole inspection, and results of the field density testing, the subgrade is adequate for foundations constructed in accordance with the referenced report with an allowable bearing capacity of 2000 psf.
