This proposal would split 10 acres into 4 lots. The proposed source of water to each Lotwill be wells or cistern. No specific information is provided concerning the wells involved or their existing i.nd proposed uses. A review of our records indicates well permit nunber L22929 was recently issued on this property. This permit was issued on the basis of information supplied on the application which indicated this would be the only well on the L0 acre tract. This inforrnation seens to be contradicted by the subdivision reguest which indicates there is both an existing weLl and the aforenentionedpe:mit. Assuming there is both an existing well and permit number 122929, then no more well permits would be available for this property except as allowed for by a plan for augmentation approved through the Water Court. We ask that the applicant be rnade aware of this. If there is an existing weLl on the property, we are wrable to determine that a permit has been issued for it; therefore, we believe it predates regis- tration requirements. We could not authorize increased use of an unregisteredwell. The existence of both an existing well and an outstanding permit would prevent issuance of another permit.
