The Garfield County Board of commissioners, on January 22, 1996, Passed by Resolution
# 96-05,approved the regulation, that Roof Construction will meet or exceed a 404 Snow Load
up to and including 7,000 feet in elevation.

Pre.manufactured homes are included, and must be certified by the factory that unit, with serial
number of that unit was manufactured to meet the snow load, of the elevation it is to be placed at.
Or,certified by a Colorado Registered Engineer.
It is the roof of the unit itself that must meet the requirements. A false roof, or "Umbrella" over
the unit IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
