Admin Office New Creation Church

Structure was constructed as a house in 1950. Property was used as dairy and dry dock storage before
use as a church, church school and admin building today.
Building permit #9219 for a residence described as a 3 br 2 bath house was taken out to replace the 2
decks on either end of the structure in 2004. It appears these decks are present today.
In 2011 permit # BLCO-04-11-1982 a foundation repair for the NW corner of the structure was taken out
to replace a failing CMU wall section and the wood framing above. The structure was considered a
commercial building. An electrical permit #718427 was also taken out in conjunction with the wall
repair.
In 2015 a permit was requested to remodel the "existing" admin building to add more offices. We could
not find a permit converting the structure from the single family dwelling to offices. Based on the
above, it would appear that the conversion was sometime between 2004 and maybe 2011 possibly
without a building permit.
It was also determined by the property owners that the proposed remodel would require additional
changes to the plans (fire sprinklers) and would cost too much to complete.
The building permit BLCO-05-15-3650 was left open to review the as built conditions to date and to get
the present construction and use into compliance.
