At a regular meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners for Garfield County, Colorado, held in the Commissioners
Meeting Room, Garfield County Courthouse, in Glenwood Springs
on Monday , the 13th of June A.D. 1988 , there were

RESOLUTION NO. 88 -OLD
A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH APPROVAL OF A MODIFICATION TO THE PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT ZONE DISTRICT TEXT FOR THE BATTLEMENT MESA PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, Battlement Mesa, Inc. has filed a petition with the Board of
County Commissioners of Garfield County to modify the Planned Unit
Development Zone District Text for the Battlement Mesa Planned Unit
Development; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by this Board on May 23, 1988; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits, study of the
Comprehensive Plan for the unincorporated area of the County, comments of
the Garfield County Planning Department, comments of public officials and
agencies, and comments for all interested parties, this Board finds as
follows:
1. That proper publication and public notice was provided as required
by law for the hearing before the Board;
2. That the hearing before the Board was extensive and complete, that
all pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted, and that all
interested parties were heard at that hearing;
3. That the Garfield County Planning Commission has recommended to
this Board that the requested modification of the Planned Unit
Development Zone District Text be granted;
4. That the proposed zoning is in general conformity with the
recommendations set forthin the Comprehensive Plan
for the
unincorporated area of the County;
5. That other than the foregoing particulars, the requested PUD zone
district text amendment meets all requirements of the Zoning
Resolution of Garfield County and, further, that the requested PUD
zone district text amendment is in the best interest of the morals,
order, health, safety, convenience and welfare of the citizens of
Garfield County.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Garfield County, Colorado, that the petition of Battlement Mesa, Tnc. for
a modification of the Planned Unit Development Zone District Text for the
Battlement Mesa Planned Unit Development be and hereby is granted and
approved as follows:

5.0 MHR - Mobile Hcxne Residential.
5.1 Uses, by right: Mobile and manufactured homes, single-family detached
dwellings, and customary accessory uses, including buildings for the
shelter or enclosure of ani n 1s or property accessory to use of the lot
for residential purposes and fences, hedges, Gardens, walks, and similar
landscape features; day nursery; park.
Mobile home parks, camper parks, recreational vehicle parks including
park models and customary accessory uses, including buildings for the

recreational vehicle park purposes. Park models are recreational
vehicles which are allowed to remain in the scue location within a
