RESOLUTION NO. W -I- (_,
WHEREAS, James T. Vanian and Maxine R. Vanian being
the owners of all of the following real property situate in
the County of Garfield, State of Colorado, to -wit:
All that part of the NE -14 SE -14 Section 21, T. 6 S., R.
89 W. 6th P.M. lying westerly of the County Road as
platted, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of said road,
whsnch the East 4 corner of said Section 21 bears N.
73 02' E. 1102.84 feet; thence S. 26 52' E. 349.44 feet
along the westerly line of said road; thence S. 27°12'
E. 150.56 feet along the westerly line of said road;
thence S. 62°48' W. 200.08 feet; thence N. 26°57' W.
508.66 feet; thence N. 65 17' E. 200.00 feet to a point
on the westerly line of said road the point beginning.
and;
WHEREAS, said owners made application to The Board of
County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado for a zone
district amendment changing the zone district designation for
all of said property from R/L/SD - Residential/Limited/Suburban
Density to R/G/UD - Residential/General/Urban Density; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado has in accordance with the requirements of
Section 10.04 of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution referred
said application to the Planning Commission for its consideration
and recommendation and;
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission upon consideration of
said application has recommended that the zone district amend-
ment be approved, and the Planning Commission has accordingly
forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners its recom-
mendation that said application be granted; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has con-
sidered said application and the recommendation of the Planning
Commission and held an advertised public hearing on the 19th
day of November, 1979, on said application all in accordance
with the provisions of Section 10.00 of said Garfield County
Zoning Resolution, and;

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has deter-
mined on the basis of the evidence presented at said hearing that
the requested rezoning request would be consistent with the
Garfield County General Plan, with the orderly development of
the County, and with existing uses in the area;
WHEREAS, the requested zone district amendment would
be consistent with the General Plan for Garfield County,
Colorado;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado that the zone district
designation of all of the above described real property be and
the same hereby is changed from R/L/SD- Residential/Limited/
Suburban Density to R/G/UD - Residential/General/Urban Density,
and that such amendment shall be entered on the appropriate sheet
of the Zone District Map of Garfield County in accordance with
the provisions of Section 10.04.02 of the Garfield County Zoning
Resolution.
The undersigned Clerk to the Board of County Commission-
ers of Garfield County, Colorado hereby certifies that the
within and foregoing Resolution was unanimously adopted at a
regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held on
