HomeMy WebLinkAbout3.0 Resolution• • RESOLUTION TO SB - 35 WHEREAS, Eulene H. Joanne M. and Robert M. Rankin have petitioned the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, for an exemption under C.R.S. 106-2-33(3)(d)(1963 as amended) for a single tract of land of approximately 0.558 acres, more or less, and more particularly described as follows: Part of Lot B in the Grand View Subdivision, West Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado; said Subdivision being located in the NW'SEa and NEQSWq of Section 5, Township 6 South, Range 89 West, Sixth Principal Meridian; said parcel contains approximately 0.558 acres, more or less. WHEREAS, the Petitioners have shown to the satisfaction of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that they desire said exemption because they are not planning to divide the tract but keep it in one parcel, and WHEREAS, the Petitioners have shown to the satisfaction of the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that they desire said exemption for the purpose of constructing multi -family dwellings for eight families, one of which will be occupied by Eulene H. Rankin, a petitioner, and WHEREAS, the Petitioners have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Board that there is adequate domestic water already in existence on the parcel, that the requested construction is in accordance with the general purposes and intent of the zoning regulations of the County of Garfield, and WHEREAS, the following conditions shall apply to the approval: (1) The petitioners shall conform to the requirements of the West Glenwood Springs Sanitation District with respect to construction of an adequate sewer line, (2) The petitioners are granted a rear yard setback by the Garfield County Board of Adjustment, (3) The required number of parking spaces as outlined in the Supplementary Regulations of the County Zoning Resolution be adhered to in any future building permit application, (4) The County Building Inspector and Planning Director review any building permits with the applicable fire district chief at the time of the application. NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of 7 /unanimously seconded by .c.��-- ���%=�`.�� and carried said tract of land containing 0.558 acres, more or less, as is more fully described in the Petition pertaining hereto, is hereby exempted from such definition. A copy of the instrument of conveyance has been recorded in the Garfield County, Colorado, and shall be filed with this resolution. Dated this /5- day of /,Qece-L- -e-c/, 1975.
