Referring to LDC #3A, the undamaged 6:12 roof should have an allowable load twice the specified total roof load. The slot that is diagonal to the roof pitch is the most
disruptive for the panels, but less disruptive than the allowed panel opening in a roof RE: SIP-126.
Given the surplus allowable capacity and the relatively small openings, my opinion is that the SIP roof will be both safe and serviceable with the bottom skin perforations
shown in the photos and on the sketch.
