The 100 -year floodplain for the Colorado River, in the vicinity of the GV 82-5 well pad, has been mapped
and delineated by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA). The limits of the
100 -year floodplain and the limits of construction disturbance for the GV 82-5 well pad are shown on
the attached aerial photograph. The aerial photograph is ortho-rectified and was obtain from the 2005
USDA National Aerial Imagery Project. The FEMA 100 -year floodplain delineation was obtained directly
for the Garfield County GIS department website. Data for the construction limits or disturbed area of the
GV 82-5 were mapped utilizing a Trimble Geo -XT survey equipment with sub -meter accuracy. The result
of the mapping surveys indicated that the GV 82-5 well pad is not within the 100 -year floodplain.
