Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (10) (a) -(d) as amended, and
the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted September 1,
1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Section,,1.02.17 (d)r and 3.02.01 the under-
signed

exempt by resolution the division of 11.45 acre tract of
2 tracts of approximately 1 acre and 10.45 acres each,
more or less, and which tract to be subdivided is more particularly described as
follows:

from the definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivision land" as the terms are used
and defined in C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (a) - (d) and the Garfield County
Subdivision Regulations, for the reasons stated below:
So that the house and its improvements can be sold and kept in use
by future tenants while subdivision proceeds on the remaining land.
In support of this petition the petitioner also submits the following:

SHERRIFF WEST GLENWOOD PROPERTY - SDG 78029
Gentlemen,
Enclosed please find the completed PETITION FOR EXEMPTION for
the above property, which has been more commonly known as the
"Donegan Property".
Our client, Richard A. Sherriff, wishes to divide one acre,
containing the existing house and other improvements, from the
total property containing 11.45 acres ±. In the future, Dr.
Sherriff will be filing an Application for Subdivision of the
remaining acreage.
DOMESTIC WATER:
The existing house (exemption parcel) is served by the West
Glenwood Water District.
SEWAGE DISPOSAL:
The existing house (exemption parcel) is served by an individual
septic system and leach field.

EXEMPTION
A parcel of land situated in Lot 1, Section 6, Township 6
South, Range 89 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Garfield
County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at an iron post and brass cap properly marked and
found in place for the S.E. Corner of Section 34, Township 5
South, said Range 89 West, thence S. 86°45'23" W. 683.28
feet to a point common to the South richt-of-way of an exist-
ing County Road and an existing fence line, the True Point of
Beginning; thence S. 00°17'42" W. 255.62 feet; thence N. 89°
42'18" W. 170.41 feet; thence N. 00°17'42" E. 255.62 feet to
said South County Road right-of-way and fence line; thence
S. 89°42'18" E. along said South right-of-way and fence line
170.41 feet to the True Point of Beginning; containing 1.000
acres more or less.
