PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (10) (a) -(d) as amended, and
the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted September 1,
1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Section 1.02.17 (d) and 3.02.01 the under-
signed , c. i
respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County,
Colorado, to exempt by resolution the division of .37:45/acre tract of
land into -3 tracts of approximately• 2.34A))1i_Z'.4zq'•51.44acres each,
more or less, and which tract to be subdivided is more particularly described as
follows:

Re: Smith Exemption and Laffoon
Exemption
We have reviewed the above referenced applications for exemption.
The owners propose to use wells for the water supply which would intercept
ground water tributary to the Colorado River at a point where water is still
available for appropriation. This office can issue permits for individual
domestic wells to lot purchasers in these developments and we recommend
approval of the Smith and Laffoon Exemptions.
