BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101(10)(a) - (d) as amended,
and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted
September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Sections 1.02.17(d) and
3.02.01, the undersigned

respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution 1- acres more or less out
of a tract of land $2 acres
more fully hereinafter described, from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivision land" as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. (1973)
Section 30-28-101(a) - (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations,
for the reasons stated below: I purchased this land in 1973. I have
2 separate deeds. Ohe for 71 acres and the other for 72 acres.
I built my hmme on the 72 acre parcel. In order to make
the -)roperty look good, I had to build on. the property line,
and the septic tank and drive way are west of the house on the
82 acre parcel.
I would like to transfer 160 Ft by )90 Ft approx. 11 acre
to the 72 acre parcel to have the buildings and drive all together
on the same deeded property.

Ra e 92 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, County o" Garfield, State
of " o7.orado, lain; Westerly of the Easterly line of said Lot L, said
par el of land is described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said Lot t said point beim; on the
Southerl-,r line of said Section 19, whence the Witr^ss Monument to the
Southwest C$rner of said Section 19 bears: N.30°38117'' W. 1370.16 feet;
thence N.39 57145" ;Al, along the Southern line of said Lot 4, 160 feet;
thence N.00°0059" t W. 450 feet; thence S.89°5714" E.160 feet to a point
on the Easterly line of Lot IF; thence S.00°0059" E. along the Easterly
line of Lot 4, 450 feet to point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 1,65 acres, more or less.
The above described parcel of land is subject to a 60 foot County Road
right-of-way running all along the Southerly line thereof containing
0.22 acres, more or less, leaving a total of 1.43 acres, more or less.
