We are reviewing the above permit and noticed we have structural plan sets without any seals. Rather
than generate two new sets of structural drawings with seals, would you be able to supply us with a wet
sealed letter stating plan set dated 12-5-16 Sheets S1 -S6 were completed and designed under the direct
supervision of the engineer of record or something like that. I believe it is your job number 16-521.

Steve,
We have completed our review of the plans and have the following comments:
1. Building height appears to be below the required 25ft. but is very close to the 25ft. maximum limit. A survey at
rough framing will be required to verify the height did not change from the plans during construction.
2. The mechanical room on the lower level opens directly into a bedroom. As per G2406 of the 2015 IRC, any gas
fired appliances will need to be direct vent or meet other criteria in this section.
3. A similar situation may be on the 2nd floor with a bathroom opening into a mechanical room.
These items are redlined on the plans. Communication prior to construction could make for less issues during
construction. This permit will be issued in the next day or so. Please call with any questions or comments.
