The welding inspected above appeared to be in general conformance with the quality requirements of the AWS DI.I Structural Welding Code, and appeared to meet/exceed the length requirements as outlined below. Note; per Phil Vaughan's conversation with the structural engineering firm Oddo Engineering I" of acceptable quality weld at each side of the pipe sleeve was adequate for the design loads anticipated. To the best of my knowledge this completes the special inspections of the welding at the die down cable pipe sleeves.
