As requested, we visited the subject site on August 16, 2016. The pur-
pose of our site visit was to observe the soils exposed at footing elevations the
new residence.
CTL 1 Thompson, Inc. performed a soils and foundation investigation for
the subject residence (CTL 1 Thompson, Inc. Project No. GS06024.000-120,
dated May 12, 2016). The soils exposed at the bottom of the foundation excava-
tion consist of sandstone bedrock. These soils are similar to the soils encoun-
tered during our soils and foundation investigation.
