Roaring Fork Preserve - Architectural Review Committee - Approval Letter
Dear Travis,
The Roaring Fork Preserve Architectural Review Comm¡ttee (ARC) approves the updated plans for the barn,
play Structure, and temporâry shed as submitted on7/26/t6. This approvalis based upon meeting the
criteria outlined in the Roaring Fork Preserve CC&R's and Building Guidelines, with regard to conformity of
selected building materials, continu¡ty with existing structures, and natural (landscape) surroundings.
This approval letter does NOT expressly imply any written wârranty with regard to architectural design,
structural integrity, and conformity to building codes, environmental impact or clean water assessment. These
items are the sole responsibility of the owner and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Any expenses with
regard to compliance or corrective action will be the responsibility of the homeowner.
This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1) lt is agreed that the temporary shed shall be removed once the barn is completed;
2) This approval is valid for six (6) months from the date of this letter. lf construction does not begin
within this time period, the property owner will need to resubmit the plans for final approval. Also, if
any changes are made to the design, materials, layout or any other feature as included in the Roaring
Fork Preserve CC&R's and Building Guidelines, the property owner will need to submit those changes to
the ARC for final approval, prior to the start of construction.

To Whom This May Concern,
please find an application for the construction of a barn/shop structure at our residence at 13 Silver
Spruce Drive, Carbondale, CO 8L623. The structure is a pre-engineered steel building constructed on a
concrete foundation. The location of the building is shown on the civil plans as provided when we built
the original residence. According to High Country Engineering, they did not need to provide a letter for
the OWTS system because we are not adding any bedrooms. The use of this building is for storage and
garage/shop space. There are NO bedrooms located in this building. With irrigation season coming
along, we would like to get the foundation going asap, so please find a grading permit attached as well.
